Day-doors
Light locked
Forbid me
Night
Compassionate gate-keeper
Neglects his rounds
Weepy in sapphire rain
Streaked with star shadow
Rumpled awake by silent stride
My garden
Imagines itself
Dusted in sunshine
Green

Oh, Nancy. I can just smell the flowers :) This is lovely...thanks for posting.
Thank you very much, Krista. You are very sweet! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and that Monday has started off beautifully. Nancy
Oh, I absolutely love your use of alliteration, Nancy! "Day-doors ... light-locked" - that is a fantastic beginning, too.
My favourite part: "Dusted in sunshine" ... how do you do it? I really wonder sometimes, how you weave this magic. Beautiful. I'm going to dream tonight ... of sapphire rain.
Michelle, I don't know what to say but Thank You! Can you see me blushing??? I confess to liking 'sapphire rain', too...though it seemed almost logical ... as Mr. Spock would undoubtedly declare it! :) Nancy
That was beautiful. Every word sparked an image. Beautifully amazing. 'Weepy in sapphire rain
Streaked with star shadow'.. *SIGH* it sounds wonderful, Nancy. :D
Brit, that is so kind of you to say! Thank you! I'm really happy you liked it and that it brought some pleasure to your day. Nancy
